I think the wheels of my plane have touched ground again. I spent an awful lot of time reading, thinking, and preparing for a five sermon series I just completed preaching called: Fear, Anxiety, Phobias and God.
It was important for the church to hear. Some outside the church have appreciated it as well. However, it was taxing on me. Good, but taxing.
Please feel free to listen to those sermons starting here. And maybe share them with someone struggling with these issues.

I was also quite busy with my work as a business owner, salesman, sales manager. Customers have needs. Co-workers have them as well.
My next post will publish this Thursday at 6AM. It will be the last one from my chapter: On The Most Important Commands.
Then on the following Monday, I will post a Book Review: A Little Exercise For Young Theologians, by Helmut Thielicke. It was a book that the professor wrote for his seminary and graduate students, so that they would be warned NOT to get ahead of themselves, puffed up with pride, or lose the spirit or purpose of theological and pastoral work. I think you will like it.
Following the review I will begin my next chapter: It is called, On Aspiring.
The chapter will grow from what Paul wrote to Timothy, “The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.” I would imagine most of you reading my posts, do indeed, aspire to serve God at some level, and maybe as an elder in Christ’s Church someday.
Anyway, I’m back. I hope you are still here!
